Inspire Tutor - Adam Smith

Dr Adam James Smith is a Lecturer in English at York St John University. Adam researches the relationship between politics and print culture in the long eighteenth century. In 2016 Adam co-edited a collection of radical poetry printed by James Montgomery titled Poetry, Conspiracy and Radicalism in Eighteenth-Century Sheffield. He also recently collaborated with Eclipse Theatre Company and the University of Sheffield’s Festival of the Mind team to write and perform the live-show: A Life of Activism – The Life of James Montgomery.
